Medeama SC have announced the signing of defender Richard Sackey from Aduana FC on a deal running until mid-2028.
The 23-year-old centre-back, who turned down an offer to extend his stay at Aduana after the 2024/25 campaign, joins the Tarkwa-based club on a three-year contract.
Medeama confirmed the move in a statement reading: "Centre-Back, Richard Sackey, signs for the next 3 years." Sackey joined Aduana FC ahead of the 2023/24 season after leaving Accra Lions, where he played a pivotal role in their debut Ghana Premier League season, helping the side avoid relegation.
He went on to make 30 appearances for Aduana in the just-ended season, establishing himself as a key figure in their defence.
