The government has issued a national call for tributes to honour the eight individuals who died following the tragic helicopter crash on August 6, 2025.
In a statement released on Monday, August 11, 2025, by Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, , indicated that a Funeral Planning Committee has been established. "The committee extends a solemn invitation to all individuals, institutions, and the public to come together in remembrance of the crash victims," the statement partly said.
As part of the preparations toward the event, an official funeral brochure will be released.
