The Funeral Planning Committee has extended a "solemn invitation" to Ghanaians to join in remembering the eight lives lost in the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash.   In a statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the committee appealed to citizens, institutions, and organisations to share their messages of condolence and tributes for inclusion in the official funeral brochure."We are calling on the nation to stand together in this moment of grief," the statement read. "This is an opportunity for all of us to honour their memory and reflect on the sacrifice and service they gave to Ghana." Tributes should be sent by email to [email protected] no later than 12:00 p.m.
