The (GHS) says the national tally of Mpox cases recorded as of August 7, 2025, has reached 346 following the confirmation of 18 new cases of the disease.
However, the country's death toll due to the disease remains at one as no new fatalities have been recorded in the latest update.
The GHS attributes the spread of Mpox primarily to close physical contact with infected individuals.
Symptoms include fever, skin rashes, and swollen lymph nodes.
