A communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Wonder Madilo, has criticised the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) for using sacks to collect the remains of victims of Wednesday's fatal helicopter crash.

Speaking on Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana on Friday, August 8, 2025, Madilo said the military, as a disciplined institution, should have arrived at the crash site with proper body bags, especially as several hours had passed before they reached the scene. "I am disappointed with GAF for this particular tragedy for not going to the accident scene with body bags, that is very bad.

The police have body bags, NADMO also has it, likewise them.

They are a disciplined institution, so, I didn't expect that from them," he said.
