The Deputy Director of Elections of the (NDC), Rashid Tanko Computer, has said that the driver of the late NDC Vice Chairman, Samuel Sarpong, collapsed upon hearing the news of his boss's passing.
According to him, the driver had taken the party's Vice Chairman to the Air Force Base to board the helicopter, being the last time he saw him.
Tanko Computer further stated that following the collapse, believed to have been caused by the shocking nature of the news, the driver was quickly rushed to the hospital for medical attention. "In fact, I'm told his driver collapsed because he drove him to the Air Force Base.
He hadn't even reached the office because of traffic when this news broke.
