Correspondence from Western region Dr Maxwell Boakye, the Western Regional representative on the Council of State, has, in a heartwarming display of compassion and community support, extended a helping hand to little Jayla Queen Fynn.
Dr Boakye's generous donation of GH¢100,000 is to enable the beneficiary to undergo critical surgery at the prestigious Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
A year and a half old Jayla Queen Fynn from the Ahanta West Municipality in the Western region, who is battling a congenital heart defect, will undergo life-saving surgery to repair a hole in her heart.
This timely intervention will give her a second chance at life, and her family can now breathe a sigh of relief.
