Today is August 7, 2025, the deadline the Communications Minister gave to Multichoice to reduce the prices of their subscriptions or risk losing their license.
Multichoice owners of DStv in a press statement expressed shock at the position taken by the Minister and asked for reconsideration.
However, Sam George, in a response, indicated that DStv does not take the Ghanaian people seriously, considering their press statement.
He insisted that his position on the issue should be maintained and called for a 30% reduction in subscription fees.
