Legal luminary Tsatsu Tsikata has announced the cancellation of his planned three-day celebration marking 50 years of legal practice, following the tragic military helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight individuals, including two government ministers.

In a solemn media release issued from his chambers at Fugar and Company, Tsikata wrote, "We are overwhelmed with grief, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased." The statement was released on Wednesday, August 6, the same day the nation was plunged into mourning by the accident in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.
