The Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, is dead.
The minister, according to reports, was one of four victims who reportedly lost their lives in the helicopter crash that occurred at Adansi Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.
The minister and the government officials were travelling to a programme in Obuasi.
Reports indicated that the aircraft had three crew members and five passengers, who are believed to be top government officials.
