Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, is optimistic that women's football in the country will continue to grow and get better under the Kurt Okraku-led Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Speaking to Citi Sports, Badu said he has been impressed by the work of the FA to grow the women's game, leading to the recent success of the Black Queens at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

According to him, the current Ghana FA administration must be applauded for their efforts and be supported to take women's football to the next level. "I have been visiting some of the clubs and watching some of the games.

You can see they have done a great job.
