The Awutu Bereku District Court, presided over by Her Ladyship Armah Adomako Kwarkye, has remanded three suspects into police custody in connection with the murder of a 65-year-old security man at Gomoa Akoti in the Central Region.
A fourth suspect, Nabil Mohammed, a phone dealer at Kasoa, was granted bail in the sum of GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
According to a report by adomonline.com on August 5, 2025, the suspects, Samuel Larbie, a 28-year-old businessman, and Wisdom Sosu, a 32-year-old mechanic, among others, were arrested by the Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command after allegedly travelling from Fetteh Kakraba to Gomoa Akoti to commit the crime.
The prosecution stated that the suspects tied the victim's legs, knees, and head before suffocating him to death.
