The National Film Authority (NFA) has announced that a fire broke out at its offices located within the Accra Tourist Information Centre in the early hours of Monday, August 4, 2025. In a public notice issued by the Authority, management disclosed that the incident caused extensive damage to office infrastructure.
However, no lives were lost.
Emergency response teams are being praised for their swift intervention, and investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway. Despite the destruction, the NFA has assured stakeholders, partners, and the general public that its operations remain uninterrupted.
The Authority has transitioned to remote working arrangements and provided new channels through which services can be accessed. "All official correspondence, service requests, and enquiries should be directed to [email protected]," the notice read.
