Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, says he has no clue if Kurt Okraku will vie for a term in office as president of the GFA.  His remarks come after the Statute Review Committee of the FA sent a proposal to the clubs for a potential extension of the presidential term from two to three terms in office ahead of the GFA's 31st Ordinary Congress scheduled for August 12, 2025, at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

It is believed that this decision by the Statute Committee is to favour Mr Okraku to stay in office for a third term.

Quizzed if Mr Okraku, who also serves as the 2nd Vice President of CAF, will contest for a third term, Mr Asante Twum was tight-lipped, saying he has not been informed if he (Kurt Okraku) will contest for a third term. "I don't know if Kurt Okraku will contest for a third term in office.

He has not spoken to me about it, and so I don't know the decision for now," he told GTV Sports Plus. "He is in his second term in office, and he is in his second year in office, so I don't know what will happen," he added.
