Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana says he aims to contribute to Atalanta and not to replace anyone or be a substitute player.  The 24-year-old joined the Serie A side on a long-term deal from Southampton this summer.

With Ademola Lookman set to leave the club to join Inter Milan, the former Stade Rennais winger has been tipped to replace the Nigeria international.

However, speaking to the media on their pre-season tour, Sulemana expressed his eagerness to learn from his teammates, particularly Lookman, and not to replace anyone. "I didn't come here to replace anyone," he said. "I came to play with whoever is here.

I can learn a lot from Ademola; he has a lot to teach me." Sulemana also stressed that he is focus is on making a meaningful impact on the team, stating, "I'm here to contribute to the team, not to be someone's substitute." The former Right to Dream Academy and FC Nordsjælland attacker is expected to play a huge role at the club in the upcoming season.
