The Member of for Salaga South, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has accused the Minority Caucus of neglecting their constituents' interests by criticizing the National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s economic management during a parliamentary debate on the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Minority Caucus staged a walkout during the budget presentation on July 24, 2025, protesting alleged electoral violence in the Ablekuma North parliamentary rerun, which they claimed involved voter intimidation and misuse of state security.

During a debate on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Ibrahimah argued that the Minority's walkout and subsequent criticism of the economy was a disregard for their constituents, who are "very happy with the work of Ato Forson managing the economy" since the NDC assumed office on January 7, 2025. "You are engaging in propaganda again, and I'm wondering how this beautiful document, which they ran away from, represents propaganda, Speaker," she said. "You walk out of a budget presentation and come back to debate it?

Speaker, I'm not a lawyer, but I know that when you evade service, judgment is made against you," she added.
