The founder and leader of the Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has described the alarming rate of road crashes claiming lives in the country as "unacceptable." In a statement shared on his Facebook page, on July 29, 2025, expressed his devastation over the fatal road crash on the Juaso-Nkawkaw highway, which claimed the lives of at least 15 members of the Obogu Saviour Church.

He strongly criticised the persistent inaction in addressing Ghana's deteriorating road infrastructure which has been identified as one of the major causes of road carnage.

He partly attributed the crisis to human negligence and systemic failure. "Ghana is bleeding on its roads.

Year after year, we lose thousands of precious lives not because of war or natural disaster but because of human negligence, lax enforcement, poor road conditions, and systemic failure.
