Ghana has secured a far-reaching educational cooperation deal with Japan aimed at strengthening teacher training and institutional capacity across all levels of education.

Spearheaded by Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, the partnership brings together Ghana's Ministry of Education, Japan's Life is Tech organisation, and MEXT.

The collaboration features a digital education roll-out to benefit over 1.35 million secondary school students, with additional support mechanisms to enhance teaching and curriculum delivery.

Educators will receive training in digital technologies, sustainability education, and inclusive learning strategies to better serve diverse student populations.
