Reading captain Andy Yiadom is set to rejoin training this week as the Royals prepare for their League One curtain-raiser against Lincoln City on Saturday.
The 32-year-old full-back signed a new contract over the summer, committing to an eighth season at the club.
With his 250th appearance on the horizon, Yiadom remains a key figure in Noel Hunt's plans, both on and off the pitch.
However, his pre-season involvement has been limited.
