English-born Ghanaian midfielder Cameron Antwi produced an impressive performance to help Newport County secure qualification in the EFL Cup play-offs over Barnet.

The 23-year-old started and played full throttle of the match as his outfit edged out Barnet on penalties to book a place in the next round of the Cup competition.

Both teams played out a 2-2 draw in a high-stake clash on Wednesday, with Newport County defeating Barnet 4-2 in the shootouts.

The English-Ghanaian midfielder opened the scoring for the visitors in the 31st-minute mark after being set up by Lee Jenkins before Michael Reindorf doubled the advantage for the club as they went to the halftime break with the advantage.
