Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, has noticed that the stronghold politics is gradually fading away.
He says no political party can boast of a stronghold in the current political space because the electorates are becoming very discerning.
General Mosquito, as he is affectionately called, indicated that it is time political parties refresh their strategies or miss out on votes in places they call their strongholds. "A lesson politicians have to learn is that if you are doing something and Ghanaians are silent, it is not because they are afraid of you.
They will look at you, but when they get fed up with what you're doing, they will drag you out," he said. "The other lesson that both parties have learned is that the voters are not your sole preserve.
