The Minority in Ghana's Parliament has rewarded the Black Queens of Ghana with an amount of GHS100,000 for winning bronze at the 2024 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon.

Alexander Afenyo-Markin, announced the decision to reward the team on Tuesday, July 29, when the players and technical team visited Parliament.

In his speech, the Minority Leader not only praised the team for their resilience and strong performance throughout the tournament but also showed evidence of the cash reward in an envelope and presented it to the House.
