Ghana international Iddrisu Baba has opened up about the emotional and physical toll of his ACL injury, describing the initial stages of recovery as the most difficult period of his career.
The 29-year-old suffered the setback in November 2024 while playing for Spanish side UD AlmerÃa, forcing him to miss 31 games during the 2024/25 season.
After nearly 250 days out, Baba is now back in training with the team at their pre-season base in Marbella and edging closer to full fitness. "The first two months were horrible.
