The Member of for Nsuta Kwaman Beposo, Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, has appealed to the of Ghana to grant music and cultural icon a state-assisted burial.

The MP believes Lumba's contribution to Ghana's music industry deserves to be recognised and as such deserves a national recognition in his funeral arrangements.

Speaking on the floor of on Monday, July 28, 2025, the former Deputy Minister for Health called on parliament to help come up with measures that will preserve the good works of the renowned music icon for generations to come.

She urged to join the residents of Nsuta Kwaman Beposo, Lumba's Hometown to mourn the Loss of their beloved son.
