Ghanaian midfielder Iddrisu Baba admits a return to action during pre-season might be too soon, but says he is staying optimistic as he closes in on a full recovery from an ACL injury.
The 29-year-old has been out of action since November 2024 after sustaining the knee injury that ruled him out for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
He missed 31 matches for UD AlmerÃa during that period but is now back in training with the squad at their pre-season base in Marbella.
