Ghanaian midfielder Iddrisu Baba says stepping onto the pitch again will be a special moment as he nears a return from a long-term injury.
The 29-year-old suffered an ACL injury in November 2024 that ruled him out of action for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
He missed 31 games for Spanish side UD AlmerÃa, where he is now training with the team during their pre-season preparations in Marbella. "I don't care if it's in an official match or a friendly," Baba said. "But I don't know how I'll react when the gaffer tells me I'm playing.
That moment will be special.
