On Monday, September 9, 2024, Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), officially filed the nomination forms for John Mahama with the Electoral Commission. Asiedu Nketia, representing Mahama and the NDC, submitted the forms as part of the formal process required for Mahama to secure his place in the upcoming presidential race.
