The government of Ghana says it is stepping up its approach to addressing the conflict in Bawku.

It has therefore decided to engage in peace enforcement rather than peace building, which has been the strategy being used all this time.

The Government has therefore deployed a chunk of Military men into Bawku to ensure lives are protected and law and order are abided.

Curfew in the area has also been reviewed, as residents are expected to be indoors by 2pm, with curfew ending at 6am each day starting on July 27, 2025.
