English-Ghanaian midfielder Marcus McGuane is focused on helping Huddersfield Town to secure promotion to the English Championship in the upcoming 2025/26 football season.

The 27-year-old completed his switch to the English League One club on Friday, signing a three-year deal following his departure from Championship club Bristol City.

With his wealth of experience in the lower-tier leagues, he is expected to play a huge role for the club in their quest to secure promotion back to the Championship. "I have been promoted from this league as well, so I have experience that hopefully I can pass to the boys, and bring to the team. "I come into Huddersfield at a good age, with good experiences, I have learned a lot, and I feel confident in my ability. "At a massive Club like this, we need to be in the best league possible, fighting to get promoted, and we need to give the fans what they want." The English-born Ghanaian midfielder has a lot of experience and is expected to contribute significant for his new outfit next season.

From Arsenal's youth ranks to making history as the first Englishman in nearly three decades to play for Barcelona's senior side, his path has been anything but ordinary.
