Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth have reportedly expressed firm interest in Ghanaian defender Josh Acheampong in the current window.

The 19-year-old broke into Chelsea's first team under Mauricio Pochettino but made more of a mark during the 2024/25 campaign, earning 13 appearances across all competitions under Enzo Maresca.

Bournemouth are said to have identified the promising the England-born Ghanaian defender as a potential addition to their backline this summer.

The Cherries are keen on bolstering their defense following the departure of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, and now face the very real threat of losing Illia Zabarnyi to PSG.
