Former Vice President and 2024 NPP Flagbearer Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia has paid tribute to the late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, following news of his death on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
In a heartfelt message shared shortly after the announcement of the musician's passing, Dr.
Bawumia described Daddy Lumba as a "true music icon" whose career spanned over three decades and influenced generations. "I have been informed of the saddening news of the passing of a true music icon, who's had an incredible career spanning over three decades," he stated.
