General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua, is of the firm view that the cheers at the National Delegates Conference will not have any toll on the 31st January 2026 flagbearership election.
According to him, only 6000 delegates were present for the conference held at the University of Ghana's sports stadium, whereas over 200,000 people are expected to vote on January 31, 2026.
Justin Kodua is of the view that those who make this argument are just being petty. "I don't think the cheers at the delegates conference will have any toll on the 2026 flagbearership race.
We were only about 6000 delegates, while we are expecting over 200,000 delegates to cast their ballot.
