President of Ghana, , has expressed his frustration in altering the mindset of some of his appointees and even the Ghanaian people.

However, the president has indicated that he will not relent in his drive to reset Ghana and help strengthen Democracy.

He made this known when investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure, visited his office to appreciate him for the decision to end the government's contract with Zoomlion.

During the visit, the president indicated that the District Assembly Common Fund will be sent to the Assemblies as against giving them 43% while the DACF keeps the remaining which is mostly used for shady procurement deals. "President Mahama also stated that his government had decided to ensure the District Assemblies Common Fund is distributed to the assemblies, instead of the money being spent in Accra.
