Chief Executive Officer of Hasaacas Ladies FC, Evelyn Nsiah Asare, has backed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over the departure of former Black Queens head coach Nora Hauptle, insisting the FA made no misstep in allowing her to leave.
Hauptle, who replaced Mercy Tagoe, had a notable impact during her tenure, guiding the Black Queens to their first qualification for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) since 2018.
However, she narrowly failed to secure Olympic qualification for the team.
After two years at the helm, the Swiss tactician opted not to renew her contract and subsequently took charge of Zambia's Copper Queens.
