Kofi Akpaloo, who is not new to the presidential race in Ghana, has just filed his nomination forms at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Accra.

By this, he is putting himself up once again to contest the position of Ghana's president in the December 7, 2024, general elections.

This will, however, only be affirmed after the EC reviews his forms and gives him the green light later to allow his face to be placed on the ballot sheets for Election 2024. 's Ishmael Batoma is stationed at the EC headquarters and reports that the small, charged-up crowd cheered Kofi Akpaloo of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) after he filed his nomination forms.

In a video shared from the venue, the small crowd could be seen chanting victorious songs as Kofi Akpaloo, clad in a cloth thrown over his shoulders, reveled in the moment.

So far, four people (including Akpaloo) have filed their nomination forms at the EC HQ on Monday, September 9, 2024.

They are of the (NPP); Nana Kwame Bediako of the New Force Movement; and Christian Kwabena Andrews of the Ghana Union Movement.
