Former Communication Director of the (NPP), has stated that a section of the party members forced the organisers of the just-ended delegates conference to take Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's image off all banners and flyers ahead of the event.
According to him, the organisers obliged and removed the image of the former Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP in the 2024 elections from the main flyers of the event, which was held on July 19, 2025 made this revelation while speaking on a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show Kokrokoo on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
According to , the NPP designed flyers for the delegates conference which contained images of all prominent personalities of the party including two ex-presidents J A Kuffour and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Pictures of ex-Vice President Aliu Mahama as well as other party stalwarts were prominently featured on the main flyer used on the day.
