Ghanaian Highlife singer Fameye has revealed that his performance at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) came with a hefty price tag, costing him over $15,000 in production expenses. In an exclusive interview with Hitz FM on Tuesday, July 22, the crooner broke down the cost involved in putting together his set, noting that it covered everything from wardrobe and stage props to payments for directors and dancers."I'm sure I'm one of the few artistes that spent much on that night.
We spent a lot, it was over 15,000 dollars because we had to sew costumes for myself and the dancers, build the set and props, pay the directors, and everything," he explained.
According to him, all these expenses were part of a formal budget he submitted ahead of time to the organisers of the TGMAs, who gave their approval. "And they did well," he added, suggesting that the organisers delivered on their part of the agreement.
