LThe body of 18-year-old Ghanaian student, Nana Agyei Oduru Ahyia, has been sent back to Ghana for burial, following his death under suspicious circumstances in Latvia, a report from citinewsroom.com has said.
Nana Agyei, a first-year Electrical Engineering (Adaptronic) student at Riga Technical University, died on June 4, 2025, after reportedly falling from the sixth floor of his apartment building on Baznicas Street in Riga, according to Latvian authorities.
He had enrolled at the university in July 2024.
However, his family has strongly disputed the official account.
