Ghanaian highlife artist Fameye has clarified that his music, often labeled as "sad," is actually intended to uplift listeners spiritually and emotionally.

Speaking on GTV's Breakfast Show, the 'Not God' hitmaker explained that while his tone may sound emotional, the essence of his music is rooted in motivation and healing.

"I didn't have it easy growing up, but things are better now," he shared, adding that the pain he endured naturally finds its way into his music.

While he never imagined he'd become a musician, he always believed he would end up as an entertainer because of his love for attention and the spotlight.Though he understands why some fans may perceive his songs as sad, Fameye believes expressing genuine emotion is an important part of his artistry.
