Ghana's Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has arrived in Rabat ahead of the Black Queens' crucial Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) semifinal clash against host nation Morocco.

His presence is to reaffirm government's support for the team as they aim to secure a spot in the final for the first time since 2006.

The Sports Ministry had earlier sent a congratulatory message to the team following their qualification to the last four, the first time in nine years the Black Queens have reached this stage of the competition.

Kofi Adams is expected to be in the stands at the 53,000-capacity Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, joining thousands of fans as Ghana face a determined Moroccan side playing on home soil.
