A wave of sorrow has swept through the quiet community of Edwenase in the Ashanti Region following the suspected suicide of a 37-year-old nurse at the Kokofu Government Hospital.
The nurse, identified as Akosua Adutwuwaa, was found dead in her family home on Sunday morning under heartbreaking circumstances that have stunned relatives and neighbours alike.
According to her distraught mother, Akosua began her Sunday morning as she always did-waking up early, performing household chores, and preparing porridge for her only child, a two-year-old daughter.
There were no visible signs that anything was amiss.
