New York Red Bulls sensation, Mohammed Sofo, has disclosed that he tries to learn and also compete with legendary footballers in the Major League Soccer, with Lionel Messi top of the list. The 20-year-old forward was in action for NY red Bulls as they suffered a heavy defeat to the star-studded Inter Miami team, led by the Messi and his ex-Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Sofo has gone from idolizing these players and now sharing the same pitch with them.
In an exclusive interview with GHANASoccernet, Sofo revealed that while he is living the dream of playing against them, he also learns a lot from the legends of the game. "It's great.
The names you mentioned, I mean I don't have to say much about it, everybody knows the qualities they have and what they have done at the highest level," he said with a beaming smile. "Every time we play against them it is a dream but also we try to compete and also learn from them.
