President has reaffirmed his commitment to complete the long-awaited Regional Hospital in the Eastern Region in line with his promise to boost development in the area via the new "Big Push Agenda." "Regarding the Eastern Regional Hospital which was initiated by the previous NPP administration, I pledge to the people of the Eastern Region that I will complete it.

The government's upcoming 'Big Push Agenda' will focus on facilitating the completion of abandoned projects across the country," he stated. "According to a World Bank report, Ghana faces an infrastructure deficit of $1.5 billion every year.

Therefore, we must allocate $1.5 billion to complete roads, hospitals, and other essential facilities necessary for Ghana to progress," he added.

This initiative aims to address abandoned projects nationwide, with the Eastern Region set to benefit immensely. "The government has introduced a program called the 'Big Push.' From the revenue generated by our gas industry and other exports, we have allocated part of that money to finance this program.
