Alhaji Alhassan Bashir Alhassan Fuseini, former Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu Constituency, has highlighted two extraordinary events that captured attention following the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

He described the incidents - the birth of a baby in Mecca and the remarkable return of a pilgrim previously pronounced dead - as "positive highlights" of the spiritual journey.

Speaking on Pan African TV's "Hello Zongo" on July 20, Fuseini elaborated on the case of the pilgrim who was mistakenly declared deceased.

What began as devastating news for a family transformed into a joyous celebration when it was discovered that the woman, Hajia Fatima, was, in fact, alive. "It was a clear case of a mistaken identity.
