The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially released the list of referees and assistant referees selected to undergo comprehensive pre-season training, medical screenings, and fitness evaluations ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The GFA has outlined a structured assessment process for the selected match officials.
The process will begin with mandatory medical examinations at designated regional health facilities, supervised by the GFA Medical Committee.
Upon completion of the medical tests, referees and assistant referees will take part in the compulsory national fitness and theoretical (writing) assessments.
