Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, Julius Debrah, has lauded the Multimedia Group for its immense contribution to Ghana's media landscape, describing the organisation as a "pacesetter" that has remained true to its founding objectives.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with JoySports' Muftawu Nabila Abdulai ahead of the JoySports Invitational Tournament, scheduled for August 9, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium, he noted that the company's commitment to objectivity has been the bedrock of its longevity and success. "This might sound controversial, but I must say that pacesetters are usually the newsmakers, and Multimedia [Group Limited], we all know, started long ago and you've kept to the objective," he noted.
In an era where media neutrality is constantly under scrutiny, Mr Debrah highlighted the Multimedia Group's unwavering stance as a key factor that has sustained its reputation. "One thing I like about Multimedia is that, as much as possible, they try to be very objective - and that's what has sustained the brand.
If you were to be extremely political, you'd be there, but you wouldn't be up there the way we see you," he remarked.
