The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has stated that he is delighted with the progress and improvement of his team at the 2025 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Ghana kicked off its campaign at the ongoing tournament in Morocco with a 2-0 defeat to defending champions South Africa.
The Queens have since won two matches and drawn one.
On Saturday night, Ghana defeated Algeria on penalties to advance to the semi-final of the tournament.
