Medeamaa FM, the leading radio station in Tarkwa and a subsidiary of the Mospacka Group of Companies, owners of Ghana Premier League giants Medeama SC, has officially launched a month-long Community Football Gala, beginning today, July 19, and running through August 17, 2025.
The highly anticipated tournament will span 20 days and will be held across three prominent venues in the mining town: Cyanide Park, New Atuabo Park, Tamso, Kwabedu, Bankyim and Akoon Park.
The event aims to foster unity and camaraderie among residents while celebrating grassroots football talent in Tarkwa and surrounding communities.
Sixteen community teams have been drawn into four groups of four.
