The Chairman of the Council of Elders of the (NPP), Hackman Owusu Agyeman, has thrown his weight behind the party's ongoing constitutional review process, describing it as vital for the party's future growth and relevance.

Speaking on the sidelines of the NPP National Delegates Conference on Saturday, July 19, 2025, Owusu Agyeman emphasised that the review is a forward-looking step to help the party adapt to changing political and organizational needs. "I believe that this conference will, in the final analysis, produce a constitution that will serve our development well as we move forward," he stated.

He urged party members to embrace the process with an open mind, stressing that reforms are a natural part of any evolving institution. "I don't think there should be any problem at all.

We have to understand that this is a human institution, it is dynamic, and it moves forward.
