Media personality and member of the (NPP), Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, has called on the youth within the party to take greater responsibility in shaping its future while honouring the legacy of past statesmen.
Speaking to GhanaWeb TV on the sidelines of the NPP's National Delegates Conference on Saturday, July 19, 2025, Afrifa emphasised that both former presidents and Nana Akufo-Addo have "paid their dues" to the political tradition the party upholds.
He stressed that it is now time for the youth to rise to the occasion and take charge. "President Kufuor has paid his dues to the tradition of the NPP.
